James death changed Samuels life because Samuel thinks he should've been kinder to james and he feels bad now that he died Samuel thinks its is fault that james died so he begins to change.
I think James dying effected Samuels life because he feels guilty like it was his fault because he could have done so many things to keep him from going to the ships that he didn't do.
I think James's death effected Samuel, because Samuel's was trying to save James's from going out of the tent and he also was trying to be nicer to James and Richard because he wanted to be friends with James and Richard and because Reverend Hunt told him to be nicer.
I think James dying effected Samuel by Samuel is starting to care a little more about people and Samuel thinks that it is his fault he thinks that he could have saved James and Samuel feels really guilty.
I think that James' death changed Samuel's life because Samuel had been mean to him and Samuel thought that James would still be alive if he had been nicer. So Samuel began to be nice to Richard.
I think James death changed Samuel because, Samuel wanted James to forgive him for all the bad things Samuel had done to him, I think Samuel was changing because of Rev hunt, he told Samuel to be more kind to James because he was just a pore little kid.so through out the text Samuel was changing by trying to be more nice to James and Richard. after James deaths Samuel felt guilty because he was thinking that he could of saved James. but he thought that he let James die.
I think when James died in chapter ten how it made Samuel change is he started being more caring and he started helping the ill. I THINK SAMUAL STARTED BEING VERY KIND HE IS SO AMAZING!

I think that Samuel is more kinder, because when James died Samuel wasn't very nice to James, and James didn't believe Samuel. So Samuel learned his lesson to try to be more kinder.
