How do you know when you are reading a text with GREAT ideas?
Now that we've been talking about idea development, what books and/or authors show great idea development in their writing? What makes these books and authors fun to read? What makes their work memorable?
I just started reading "The Shadow Children" series I'm on the third book "Among the Betrayed" it is so good. The author tells a great story, but still adds in facts about what we can do to make Earth a better planet. I would definitely recommend this book.
A good author that shows idea development and is fun to read is Chris D'laycey. The reason I say this is because he is descriptive, funny(ish), and he has cool ideas.
A good author would be Jeff Kinney. The reason why I pick this is because, Jeff Kinney is a funny author he makes me think of making a book about my life. I got plans of making my on book about my life!
You know that your reading a text with great ideas by getting great ideas when you are reading that text. For example I have been reading a book that is called Treasure Hunters and I was reading a page and all of the sudden I got a great idea for a book, but unfortunately I forgot to write it down.
I think that Brandon Mull is one of the most interesting authors in the world, because he has very good word choice; and he has unlimited ideas. Brandon has books that my parents couldn't even know what a word means. This is a great author in my whole family's opinion exept my little sister, but all of his books that me and my family have read are faboulas.
Daisy Meadows writes the books about rainbow faires. She has good idea development because she is unique with her writing ,and it is cool how she makes each fairy have different powers, and all the faires have their color in the rainbow. These books are so interesting.
I am reading Thriller and it is a Guys read book.I recomennd this book it is a mystery book so you can use it for your 15 book challenge if you need to.
I am reading Gaby lost and found and it is a gripping book. It is about a girl named Gaby, whose mom has been deported to Honduras.I enjoy this book because it has kittens in it.

ReplyDeleteI started on the second book of the "Kane Chronicles". It was made by Rick Riordan. The book is really humorous and some times sad and serious.
